SpotMe/Onomi exists to make pharma and event engagement work better. We give life sciences teams one solution to run their in-person and virtual engagements while capturing every interaction in their CRM. By making events easier to manage and measure, we help pharma create better experiences for healthcare professionals, at a lower cost. Our solution turns complex congress engagements, webinars, standalone meetings, advisory boards and field-led meetings into meaningful connections that drive results for commercial and medical teams.The VP Marketing role is a critical position in our company and our leadership team, reporting to the CEO.
Following our Onomi launch, life sciences new and expansion pipeline is the #1 company objective and marketing is a key component of it. Unlocking audience to pipeline conversion with a laser-focused approach on Onomi/life sciences while adopting a scrappy/hands-on posture will be a key factor to company growth and profitability for the next 3 years.This is a hands-on leadership position which includes building a team of internal talents, contractors and vendors (15%), making direct hands-on contributions to campaigns/projects (25%), administering marketing systems (Hubspot, Salesforce and others; 20%), actively contributing to the company executive team, turning strategy into measurable goals, actively troubleshooting performance/conversion issues, reporting on marketing/pipeline performance to CEO/board and managing the marketing team (Senior manager ABM & demand generation, Head of content, Full-stack web ops and design agency, PPC consultant, SEO agency, Salesforce development consultant, 40%).
Objectives - The problems you will solve
In your first 3 months, you will onboard, get hands-on with our product, become fluent in our industry, get up to speed with systems and make an initial diagnosis:
- Learn our product by getting certified with our SpotMe Academy and by operating it for our own marketing webinars and Salesforce integration.
- Become fluent with our industry personas and all our industry use cases by embedding yourself in customer projects and presentations.
- Get to grips with our marketing systems and take over system administration.
- Prepare an analysis and execution plan for SpotMe/Onomi marketing engine and present early findings to executive team and board.
- Produce weekly pipeline reports for the team and quarterly GTM updates for our board.
After 6 months, you will have executed initial optimizations, kicked off new campaigns, rolled out key M/BoFU assets, sealed a new SLA with sales; leading indicators (marketable Onomi/life sciences audience, lead conversion to opportunity) improving after 2 quarters.After 12 months, you will have pushed optimization further and validated new campaigns and channels with a new/expansion ARR Onomi/life sciences marketing pipeline 80% growth YoY.SpotMe recruits, compensates, and promotes regardless of race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, age, parental status, or veteran status.
