- Work on engineering solutions and requirements for various projects, such as; retrofitting and upgrading electrical service, switchgear and distribution systems, fire alarms, interior alterations, etc. in existing buildings
- Execute on project plans, conduct site inspections, generate project deliverables, and work collaboratively to meet project schedule and budget
- Generate key project documentation and produce construction drawings in AutoCAD
- Anticipate and trouble-shoot project-specific problems and develop and implement solution in timely manner
- Enforce quality control with contractor during construction
- Communicate effectively and timely
- Engage in building positive client and peer relationships
- Effectively handle time to perform work duties in a dynamic environment
Qualified candidates will have 4+ years of NYC electrical engineering and fire alarm experience. Familiarity with FDNY filing processes preferred.HLZAE is an equal opportunity employer.
