PharmaCord is seeking a highly motivated Accounting Manager to provide hands-on support across several critical areas within our Finance/Accounting function. As our company continues to grow, we are solidifying our foundation with critical support roles that will enable us to remain the most rapidly growing company within our industry.We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a strong background in financial reporting, especially within private equity-backed environments.
This role is pivotal in overseeing the day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making. The Accounting Manager will work closely with senior leadership, and stakeholders to maintain financial integrity and compliance, helping drive the company's growth and success. This position will report to the VP, Controller and work in tandem with the Finance Manager.

The Accounting Manager responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Financial Reporting and Compliance:
- Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Ensure all financial reports meet the reporting standards and timelines required by private equity stakeholders.
- Facilitate the preparation of reporting packages for private equity partners, including variance analyses, KPI tracking, and financial commentary.
- Stay updated on accounting standards and regulatory requirements, implementing changes as necessary.
- Month-End Close Process:
- Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.
- Oversee account reconciliations and analysis to ensure accuracy and timely completion of financial records.
- Review and ensure accuracy in intercompany transactions, account consolidation, and expense allocations.
- Internal Controls and Compliance:
- Establish and maintain effective internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets.
- Conduct regular assessments and audits to ensure compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and investor requirements.
- Partner with external auditors for annual audits and respond to audit requests.
- Team Management and Development:
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance on complex accounting issues.
- Support the professional development of the team through training and performance feedback.
- Lead cross-departmental projects to improve financial processes, reporting, and technology enhancements.
- Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Collaborate with the FP&A team to support budget and forecast preparation, cash flow analysis, and financial planning.
- Provide insights into trends, operational improvements, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Contribute to the creation of dashboards, KPI tracking, and other management reporting tools.

The candidate must possess the following personal attributes:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
- Certification: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred but not required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Private Equity: Experience in a private equity-backed environment is highly preferred, with familiarity in working with PE reporting requirements.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and financial analysis. Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Sage Intacct, or something simialr) and advanced Excel skills.
- Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

- This is a full-time exempt position.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit, use hands to type, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Must be able to type 35 WPM with 97% accuracy.
