Job Overview:
Verra Mobility is on the lookout for a Health and Safety Manager to lead in the development and delivery of strategic plans and objectives across their framework for health, safety, environmental and quality management. You will provide support to operational teams in the investigation and resolution of HSEQ accidents and incidents, prepare reports on Health and Safety matters and play an active role in the development of HSEQ policy and improvement programmes.
Skills and Experience:
- A proven background in managing health and safety within a telecoms, utilities or civil engineering environment
- Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety Management, NEBOSH General or equivalent qualifications/experience
- Ideally Chartered status or working towards Chartered status with IOSH
- Sound working knowledge of HSEQ laws, ACOPs, Guidance
- Skills in auditing and personnel management an in managing health & safety metrics.
- Excellent communication, engagement, and leadership abilities.
- Exposure to relevant ISO standards (27001 is highly desirable)
