Production Technician

PharmaCann, Inc. owns and operates best-in-class production facilities and retail dispensaries for cannabis-based products. We currently operate in the States of Illinois, New York, Massachusetts, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Colorado and Michigan as a medical and/or adult use cannabis provider to patients and customers. We are looking for energetic, results-driven individuals to join our rapidly growing team and industry.

Job Summary:


The Production Technician will be responsible for safely and effectively filling, packaging, and labeling our food safe medical cannabis oils and liquids for ingestion, inhalation, solid dose and topical applications. Pay Rate is $20.75/hr

Duties and responsibilities or (Essential Functions)


  • Proper setup and operation of filling, solid dose manufacturing, packaging, and labeling equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed.
  • Help monitor and manage processing equipment supplies and inventory.
  • Executing all filling and packaging procedures in an efficient manner in compliance with PharmaCann SOP’s and all applicable manufacturing procedures.
  • Perform in-process and post-process sample acquisitions according to protocols or batch records.
  • Support new product lines and process development as needed.
  • Be willing and able to be cross-trained to work alongside other PharmaCann team members with manufacturing, harvesting, drying, weighing and other necessary tasks associated with PharmaCann’s broad medical cannabis product line as needed.
  • Ensuring compliance and accuracy involving all product tracking, product security, and product movement procedures.
  • Train future new team members as necessary
  • Projects a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community.
  • Embodies the culture, values, and tenets of PharmaCann and full support of our purpose, goal, and key objectives.

Qualifications


Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D minimum.Age: State law requires that applicants be 21 years old and over.Experience: The ideal candidate will have at least one to three years of applicable experience in filling, manufacturing and packagingexperience with a focus on ensuring product safety, consumer safety and satisfaction, and high product quality.Competencies/Additional Requirements include:

  • Willingness to learn and improve each operation.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods of time (i.e.: operating filling and or packing equipment).
  • Availability to work occasional weekends and holidays.

Physical requirements

  • Standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds, carrying product totes, pushing carts, moving and making adjustments
