We are a distributed workforce and have two amazing workspaces in Bellevue, WA and Minneapolis, MN. As the Director of Sales, you will build and develop a high-performing team of Account Executives. You will be one of four Sales Directors at Center held accountable to driving the overall team quota and sales execution. As part of Center’s growing Sales team, you will be actively involved in developing account strategies, optimizing our Sales playbook and partnering cross functionally to drive maximum consumption of our clients from prospecting to growing.

You Will Have the Opportunity To:


  • Proactively manage, coach, develop and motivate a team of high performing Account Executives to enable their success in achieving team quota and consumption targets 
  • Provide hands-on mentorship and feedback to each Account Executive on effective sales methodologies from discovery, qualification, assessment of buyer profiles, deal closure, and accrual of spend
  • Recruit, hire, train, develop, and retain Account Executives by using creative incentives and a team-focused approach
  • Act as a hands-on coach, ready to actively support your team’s success through impactful one-on-one coaching, shadowing key sales activities, and providing real-time feedback across the prospect journey. You’ll model effective sales strategies and motivate your team to achieve top performance
  • Play an active role in screening and interviewing potential candidates 
  • Be involved with Sales training (new & continuous) of your Account Executives to find trends and areas of improvement  
  • Partner with Customer Experience teams to build best practices and process efficiencies
  • Maintain technical and professional knowledge of Center’s product and offering to assist your team to interpret complex problems, create simple solutions and collaborate closely with prospects
  • Keep current with economic indicators, changing trends, and competitors to maintain sales volume.
  • Forecast your team’s pipeline with a high degree of accuracy
  • Review & develop long- and short-term sales strategies and identify opportunities for process improvements that align with the broader Center vision
  • Analyze data for deep understanding of the details and areas of improvement  
  • Provide upward feedback to the Senior Director, Sales and other executives on field takeaways (i.e., sales strategy & product obstacles)
  • Champion the professional growth of each team member, fostering a culture of resilience, continuous learning, and high performance

What You Will Bring to the Role:


  • College degree (BA/BS)
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of B2B sales experience within a high-growth SaaS environment, with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of relevant management experience, preferably in SaaS organization
  • Able to measure and diagnose strategic efficacy and recommend course correction/shifts to business plans
  • Experience prospecting accounts and managing pipeline to maximize revenue
  • Proven ability to exceed quota and revenue goals
  • Ability to connect with prospects specific needs to match Center’s value proposition
  • Analytical skills to review large data sets to find patterns for improved processes
  • Effective oral and written and presentation skills
  • Able to multi-task and effectively manage competing priorities 
  • Ability to work well with people at all levels of the organization in a geo-dispersed and often virtual environment
  • Strong business acumen: able to align sales activities with broader business goals and understand the impact of strategic decisions
  • Self-aware and open to feedback, with a constant drive for improvement in both personal and team performance
  • Experience with modern sales and business platforms, including Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, Gong, Outreach, ZoomInfo, and Tableau, or similar systems.
  • Ability to travel as needed (less than 15%)

$250,000 - $250,000 a yearWe offer an excellent compensation package for all Center employees. This includes competitive salary, variable commissions, generous paid time off, comprehensive health benefits and 401(k) participation. The Director, Sales pay transparency OTE range is $250k annually + equity. In addition, Center offers a Self-Managed PTO plan, 9 Paid Holiday’s, Paid Parental Leave, Commuter Stipend, and health care benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Long Term Disability, Base Life, AD&D, FSA, Commuter and 401(k).
