ACERTUS is the only tech-enabled automotive logistics company to move, store, recondition, title & register finished vehicles. As a Claims Collection Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the collection of outstanding claims, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining positive relationships with clients and carriers. This role requires strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a keen attention to detail. This is a part time, in-office position.
Schedule: Monday thru Friday 12pm - 4pm.Pay: $21 -$23/hr.
What you will be doing:
- Manage Claims Collection contact process.
- Review claims and escalate to Audit if necessary.
- Manage Claims Collection phone calls.
- Call carriers with unpaid claims receivables.
- Send follow-up emails to carriers with unpaid claims receivables.
- Manage Zendesk Collections view.
- Analyze claims for collectability and submit qualifying claims to external collections.
- Manage Vendor relationship with 3rd party collections.
- Assist with skip tracing on unresponsive carriers.
- Assist with Subrogation and collections process.
- Assist with tracking of litigation files.
- Assist with preparing insurance submission packages.
- Certificate of Insurance Review.
- Propose payment plans when appropriate.
- Assist with reporting and claims accounting as necessary.
What are we looking for?
- This position requires a High School Diploma. Associate degree or higher preferred.
- Experience in high volume processing or call center environment is a plus, but not required.
- Previous collection experience preferred.
- PC Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills
- Previous experience with Zendesk preferred.
- Ability to prioritize work according to deadlines and client expectations.
- Critical thinking skills to communicate automation and process improvement ideas.
- Strong organizational, decision making and problem-solving skills.
- Personal Responsibility to manage change.
