About the Role:


Our client, a leading healthcare technology provider, is seeking an experienced Head of Cloud to join their team and drive their cloud infrastructure strategy to new heights. This individual should excel in both execution and thought leadership. While not responsible for day-to-day coding, you should be comfortable with hands-on involvement in infrastructure and cloud architecture when needed.

Responsibilities:



  • Lead the cloud infrastructure team, ensuring scalability, security, and performance of cloud solutions.

  • Develop and execute strategic cloud initiatives aligned with company goals, driving innovation in healthcare technology.

  • Foster a high-performance and inclusive team culture, focusing on mentorship and career development.

  • Oversee cloud security, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.

  • Cultivate relationships across engineering, product, and business teams to align on priorities and project needs.

  • Standardize best practices for cloud management, security protocols, and infrastructure resiliency.

  • Partner with the recruitment team to attract top cloud engineering talent.

Requirements:



  • 7-10+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with a strong foundation in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

  • 3-5+ years of leadership experience managing cloud or infrastructure teams.

  • Proficiency in cloud infrastructure management, DevOps, and CI/CD practices.

  • Deep understanding of information security, compliance, and data privacy in a cloud environment.

  • Experience designing and implementing scalable, secure, and resilient cloud systems.

  • Proven involvement in driving product strategy and cloud architecture decisions.

  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and business teams.
