The Logistics Analyst will support the U.S. Army Counterintelligence G6 with Property Management. This role may require lifting objects (i.e. Hardware), reaching/bending/kneeling (i.e plug in cables) and other moderately strenuous activity.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Support the organization’s business processes for the ordering, receipt, delivery, and disposal of IT equipment and supplies. This includes, but is not limited to, positive control of delivered items, order/equipment registration in appropriate databases, customer notification of equipment receipt, installation scheduling, transport of equipment to installation location, equipment preparation for installation, installation, removal, and final disposal.
- Logistics activities are executed under the guidance of the organization’s CMB and/or logistics manager, with concurrence of the TTM (Technical Task Manager).
- Maintain the organization’s IT Systems hardware and software asset inventory in the Government’s prescribed Configuration Management Databases (CMDB). i.e., the Automated Systems Integration Database (ASID). The task order QAP shall include specific methods and frequency of measures to ensure that the CMDB(s) is maintained with an accuracy of at least 95%.
- Provide the TTM weekly documentation confirming the reconciliation of applicable warehouse, procurement, logistics, and asset management activities. The documentation submitted will be used to update the organization’s approved, authoritative inventory system (i.e., ASID) with current, accurate, and consistent data.
- Manage and oversee the transportation of classified and unclassified intelligence IT equipment and materials (e.g. spare parts) necessary to support the requirements of this task order. This includes, but is not limited to, spare part inventory management; shipping and receiving materials; ordering, tracking, and expediting purchases; and material receipt and storage.
- Ensure that they adhere to all appropriate International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) clauses for the shipment of controlled materials.
- Be informed of and manage customs issues for worldwide transportation of IT materiel.
- Standardize and enforce supply discipline by leveraging the tenets of the Command Supply Discipline Program (CSDP)
- Participate in integrated logistics support management team meetings, program management reviews, and other related meetings.
- Promote a safe work environment and implement safe work practices.
Required Skills, Experience & Education
- Clearance Requirement: Top Secret/SCI and willingness to take a CI Poly
- Education Requirement: High School Diploma/GED with 8 years of related experience, or Associate's Degree with 6 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree with 4 years of experience
- GCSS-A (Global Combat Support System-Army) knowledge/experience
- General knowledge of Financial Liability Investigation of Property Loss (FLIPL) process
- Must possess a valid U.S. Driver’s License
- In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, employee must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
- Ability to lift objects up to 30lbs (i.e. Hardware), reaching/bending/kneeling (i.e plug in cables) and other moderately strenuous activity.
