PharmaCann, Inc. owns and operates best-in-class production facilities and retail dispensaries for cannabis-based products. We currently operate in the States of Illinois, New York, Massachusetts, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Colorado and Michigan as a medical and/or adult use cannabis provider to patients and customers. We are looking for energetic, results-driven individuals to join our rapidly growing team and industry.
Under the supervision of the SC Warehouse Manager, the Courier is responsible for manifesting, loading, and transporting products to our stores, wholesale locations, and various production facilities. The Courier is also responsible for picking up incoming wholesale product from vendors and delivering the products to the Production Facilities and Headquarters. This individual is expected to operate under the highest standards of compliance and professionalism and assist as needed in any warehouse function.

Essential Duties


Transportation


  • Performs pre-delivery sorting, inspection, and determines necessary routing for delivery of mail and packages.
  • Maintain strict adherence to MED compliance regulations.
  • Maintain strict adherence to all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Operate a motor vehicle while adhering to all local, state, and federal transportation laws.
  • Interact with vendors in a polite and professional manner.
  • Ensure all paperwork is provided when picking up wholesale.

Communication  


  • Ability to communicate with all departments of the company.
  • Provides internal mail pickup and delivery to all district sites on an assigned schedule.
  • Performs pre-delivery sorting, inspection, and determines necessary routing for delivery of mail and packages.
  • Responds to inquiries from staff and vendors to provide information and/or direction regarding the invoices, billing, status of deliveries, etc.
  • Maintenance of the delivery records.​

Operations


  • Operate machines, motor vehicles, hand tools, and job-specific equipment and tools.
  • Observe general surroundings and activities.
  • Work in various inside and outside environments being subjected to weather changes, noise, vibrations, job hazards, and atmospheric conditions.
  • Drives vehicles for the purpose of transporting orders to designated sites.
  • Performs minor maintenance of delivery vehicles (e.g. checking fluid levels, fueling, cleaning, etc.) to ensure the vehicle’s safe operation.

Order Fulfillment


  • Generate picks for stores’ needs.
  • Maintain utmost compliance when creating packages and manifests in METRC.
  • Verify and quality check the product before it leaves on delivery.
  • Handle any necessary ERP functions as needed.

Work Environment  


  • Adhere to all work safety requirements including but not limited to lifting, bending, and moving up and down ladders throughout the shift.
  • Perform regular cleaning and maintenance on work surfaces, tools, and related equipment to maintain systems.
  • Keep doors closed when not in use.
  • Wear protective clothing when working with plants.
  • Before exiting the facility remove protective clothing and ensure that there is no cannabis on your personal clothing, shoes, or hair.

Other Duties  


  • Other duties as assigned, including, but not limited to assisting other departments to help facilitate the additional and/or supplemental work such as harvesting, trimming, packaging, cleaning, and light maintenance as needed throughout the facility.

Supervision


  • Works under the direct supervision of the Warehouse Manager.
  • This person does not supervise others.  

Job Qualifications


Work Experience


  • Demonstrated effective communication.
  • Demonstrated great attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of state and federal employment laws relating to key areas of responsibility.

Education


  • High School Diploma or GED required; BS in Business Management preferred

Working Conditions  


  • Must be able to be forklift certified.
  • Able to use a computer and/or hand tools for extended periods of time.
  • Able to move about a typical office, manufacturing, and warehouse environment.
  • Able to kneel, bend, reach, rotate, and stoop on an intermittent to regular basis daily.
  • Able to lift and move up to ​ 50 pounds overhead on a regular basis.
  • Hours regularly exceed 40 hours per week.
  • Occasional travel by conventional means including aircraft, motor vehicle, and the like within the region and to other locations as required.
  • Regular and on-time attendance.
