THE JOB


We are looking for a skilled coach and natural leader with management experience under their belt. Our perfect candidate loves identifying each team member's strengths and putting them in a position to succeed. You will develop our employees through 1:1 coaching, training, and working with other department leads to cross-train your staff. This manager oversees the team that is responsible for picking, packing and shipping our orders. This manager takes charge to ensure orders are shipping on time, are accurate, and that products look amazing.

RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Hold 1:1s regularly to coach, mentor, provide feedback and improve skill set and productivity of staff members and improve the 1:1 structure
  • Communicate expectations with team members in various areas (i.e. adhering to the attendance policy, creating and delivering disciplinary actions)
  • Collect key metrics to monitor individual performance and update the teams career paths that measure performance in a way that Kotis isn’t already doing
  • Manage overall workload of the team and propose ways to manage the workload more efficiently
  • Move staff assignments on the fly based on daily workloads/projects
  • Hold daily group meetings and other coaching/training sessions as needed
  • Deliver performance reviews consistently and effectively and identify areas of improvement to the review cadence and structure
  • Recognize staff throughout the year using a variety of methods and introduce new recognition methods that Kotis isn’t already doing
  • Enforce amazing quality control (QC) and audit orders to ensure the correct items are being picked and packed correctly
  • ​Create new processes and trainings quarterly and review current as needed
  • Inspire and engage team members by modeling Kotis’ values and being involved beyond their daily duties
  • Effectively communicate with other Kotis staff regarding inquiries into order status, iBuy tracking, inventory questions or other inquires
  • Ensure work areas, aisles and overall appearance is clean, well-kept, and reflect Kotis standards and safety requirements
  • Identify issues and provide solutions for mis-ships or inventory issues
  • Works with warehouse director to propose improvements in a variety of areas

SCHEDULE


  • Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm
  • Position is full time

REQUIREMENTS


  • 3+ years people Management experience required
  • Warehouse experience strongly desired
  • Capable of remaining calm and composed under pressure
  • Strong ability to use Outlook and Excel
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Regularly stand for long periods of time while reaching with hands and arms
  • Specific vision abilities include sharp vision, focus, depth perception and ability to identify colors

COMPENSATION


$60,000-80,000/year DOE
