About the role:


Carbyne’s events marketing manager is responsible for regional marketing for the US Region. They will be at the forefront of our events strategy, driving the planning and execution of all Carbyne events. The successful candidate will have a clear understanding of the B2G sales process. The candidate will have experience managing our presence at national U.S. trade shows, regional trade shows, and industry meetings and coordinating prospecting lunch-and-learns. The events marketing manager will have experience producing a consistent, creative, and engaging in-person corporate presence, managing and staying within budget, capturing leads from events, and ensuring they are entered into our marketing automation platform in as easy and automated a manner as possible.

Here's what you'll be working on:


  • Excellent project management abilities, adept at managing multiple projects and deadlines while remaining flexible in dynamic environments
  • Proven track record of collaborating effectively with direct sales and customer success teams
  • This position will need to manage events to a budget, execute day-of tactics, and track and report on event performance/effectiveness. 
  • This position will need to manage our swag and printed materials inventory.  The right candidate will be responsible for hiring a fulfillment house in the U.S., and working with U.S. printers and gift manufacturers to economically procure and deliver the right merchandise to the right events. 
  • Will need to be able to juggle and manage multiple priorities at one time in a fast-paced, shifting environment
  • Capture, collect, and ensure all event leads are seamlessly added to our marketing automation system. 
  • Independent, self-starter who can prioritize and drive deliverables to execution with minimal supervision
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have the ability to communicate with team members at varying levels
  • Ability to travel through the U.S. as needed
  • Must be available to troubleshoot during pre-show preparation, show hours, and post-show follow-up.

Requirements


  • 5+ years of relevant event marketing experience. 
  • Proven track record of organizing national, local and regional events
  • Ability to manage multiple events on time and on budget
  • Proficient time-management skills, detail-oriented, and excels in the planning and execution of events.
  • Experience using Hubspot and Salesforce
  • Must be proficient in English and knowledgeable about event management within the U.S.
  • Team player
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
