About the role
This senior individual contributor role puts you at the forefront of crafting impactful proposals and contracts that solidify strong partnerships between BeyondID, our customers, and our partners. You'll be a key player in executing our growth strategy and be positioned to develop a comprehensive understanding of our business.
Responsibilities
- Serve as an expert on deal structuring, pricing, commercial terms, processes, and policies
- Ensure all non-standard commercial terms are reviewed, approved, and properly documented by Revenue requirements
- Strategize with Sales and internal stakeholders, including Finance, Accounting, Operations, outside Legal, and Delivery to structure and position complex deals
- Periodically, as needed, on complex or escalated issues, manage negotiations and closure directly with customer’s contracts or legal teams
- Efficiently manage the execution of all Sales contracts via DocuSign
- Provide Finance with context and clarification on complex deal structures and metric treatment related to booking, invoicing, internal reporting, etc., and validate all closed-won opportunities in NetSuite CRM as part of the quote-to-cash process.
- Build and maintain scalable and efficient processes and resources (including BeyondID’s commercial contract template library and knowledge center in Sharepoint) to operationalize excellence to ensure timely and accurate closure of deals
- Collaborate among Global counterparts to ensure consistency and vigor around processes
- Review and approve quotes that align to the Deal Desk authority levels
- Continuously work with the broader Revenue Operations teams to improve deal management processes across Deal Desk, Sales Operations, Channel Operations, and Orders
- Identify deal trends and develop and implement best practices with a data driven mentality
- Partner with Sales leadership to identify areas of opportunity and provide detailed insights into the business
- Ability to work with the US timeline and time zones. Thus, there will be a need for late shifts to meet the deal review requirements and be able to get on a call with customers, sales, and finance stakeholders
Qualifications
- Typically, 5+ years of relevant deal desk or commercial operations experience in the professional services, SaaS, and or cybersecurity industry
- Strong background in legal contract review and negotiation, ensuring compliance and risk management on a broad range of outbound (and occasionally inbound) agreements for commercial and large enterprise clients, including, but not limited to, master services agreements, statements of work, order forms, non-disclosure agreements, business associate agreements, and data processing agreements
- Proven experience in aligning cross-functional teams towards deal objectives
- A willingness to enforce deal governance and compliance policies with a thorough understanding of the revenue model and reporting
- Demonstrated project management and process improvement experience
- Excellent communication skills

- Aptitude in prioritizing, maintaining attention to detail, and producing timely and quality work under high pressure and tight deadlines with the capacity to lead and engage in multiple initiatives at the same time
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving competencies
- Commercial Law background is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Law - MBA or/and Masters in Law preferred
Bonus Points
- Experience with U.S. state, local, and federal contracts
- Familiarity with ASC 606 revenue recognition principles, enhancing the ability to evaluate and structure deals for compliance and optimal contract terms
Location
