We are Belvo, an open finance API platform with the bold vision of democratizing access to financial services in Latin America. We enable any financial innovator to access and interpret financial data, as well as initiate payments from their end-users accounts. We’re turning the messy complexities of the Latin American financial ecosystem into a modern set of tools to access and interpret data and move money in a seamless and secure way.We’re a highly-technical, passionate, and driven team. We are more than 90 people and our team currently represents 20 nationalities.

We have offices in São Paulo and Mexico City – while a large portion of us work remotely.We are tackling a very stimulating problem: connecting fintech innovators with legacy financial infrastructure. About the team:



  • We work in cross-functional, autonomous teams. We follow continuous delivery best practices executed on top of a modern technology stack. 

  • Our products are built for developers, by developers. Technological excellence is at the heart of what we do.  

  • We are pragmatic and customer-focused. We strive to find the right set of trade-offs in order to validate our hypothesis as early as possible, iterating on our products based on customer feedback. 

  • We communicate transparently. We do weekly all-hands where we get together to discuss company performance and goals.

  • While we are global and remote friendly, we also operate from vibrant offices in CDMX and Sao Paulo, where we have hybrid roles, our team goes to the office at least twice a week. To accommodate the various timezones in which we are based, we ensure we’re always synced up between 3 pm and 6 pm, CEST.

  • Also, we are backed by some of the leading investors in Silicon Valley and Latin America, including Founders Fund, Kaszek Ventures, and YCombinator.

Your opportunity:



  • Become a domain expert in Payments and Open Banking in Latin America.

  • Navigate across various industry verticals, including Fintechs, Lending, Telecom, Insurance, Education, Digital Subscriptions, Gyms, etc..

  • Full pipeline management: make demos, elaborate sales proposals/quotes, negotiate and close deals.

  • Work closely related teams: Customer Success, Product, and Marketing either to validate qualified sales leads, follow-up on targeted campaigns, assist in QBR sessions, product feedback, etc.

  • Collaborate with our Onboarding team to ensure new customers' smooth hand-off so the intended go live timeline is met.

  • Establish engaging communication and work strategically with our Customer Success team to facilitate cross-sells, upsells, and renewals.

  • Work closely with the Sales Manager to create the necessary strategies for new accounts acquisition.

This position may be for you if:



  • +5 years of experience in sales preferably within financial services, fintech, API selling or related companies.

  • You are native in Spanish and fluent in English; Portuguese is a plus!

  • Experience engaging multi-faceted deals, where there’s more than one DM or more than one opportunity within the company you are prospecting.


  • Horsepower to understand, elaborate and explain detailed and complex ideas in a very clear (easy) and thoughtful way.

  • You are adaptable and thrive in fast-paced environments. Belvo is creating a new industry in Latam, we need you to be dynamic and ready to adapt as our market and needs do.

  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

  • You are fluent in English.

  • Resourceful when it comes to achieving a mission that’s been given to you.

  • Team player, ready to make passes when needed but can also make a big play if the situation calls for it, we do what it takes to win as a team. 

  • Perseverance to achieve company goals and results oriented mindset.

  • You have a strong work ethic and you are eager to learn.

  • Ability to develop rapport, influence others, identify insiders/champions that can push deals forward, build and maintain strong working relationships.

  • Experience using Hubspot, Salesforce or a comparable CRM tool.

  • This is a hybrid role. Our team goes to the office twice a week.

Amazing if:



  • Past experience in Fintech, Financial services, API selling or consultative selling in B2B companies .

  • Past experience selling payments solutions.

  • You have experience working in Latin America.

  • Social media selling (Linkedin).

  • Have participated in technology sales before.

  • Have an understanding of Open Banking.


  • You consider yourself a techy person.
