What does the role look like?
As a Staff Software Engineer, you’ll take ownership as a Directly Responsible Individual (DRI) for one or more product areas. In this role, you will drive impactful business outcomes by deeply understanding customer needs, setting clear priorities for maximum impact, collaborating with designers on solution ideation, and implementing experiments through hands-on coding. Our iOS app is growing fast, with over 600,000 downloads since May. You’ll tackle our most challenging, high-impact projects—like video live streaming, an immersive content feed, native chat, and discovery of new Whops.
Each feature demands meticulous attention to detail and a carefully crafted user experience in order to win eyeballs from other major social media and messaging platforms. Your craft must be top-notch. You’ll also mentor and develop other iOS engineers, making it easier for them to contribute effectively to the codebase. Success in this role will be tied to key business metrics.
Qualifications
- Have built iOS apps before w/ deep knowledge with Swift, ideally SwiftUI
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Experience building beautiful products at a high velocity

- Target base salary of $200,000 - $230,000 + a competitive equity package.
