What You’ll Do:


  • Build & maintain systematic reporting on event, data quality, and alerting systems.
  • Test event tracking for features and releases to ensure that business-critical data is generated correctly.
  • Systematically test business-critical database logic.
  • Partner with product managers to ensure new features are tracked appropriately and test the implementation.
  • Proactively identify gaps in our data generation and partner with engineering teams to close them.
  • Establish conventions and processes around event tracking.

What You’ll Bring:


  • 1-2 years data analysis experience in an online business with proven track record of building analytics tools and generating insights.
  • Great command of SQL. 
  • Experience with large data sets (we use Redshift, Postgres, and Clickhouse).
  • Good command of Python (especially data-related libraries such as numpy, pandas, etc.)
  • Good communication, interpersonal skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to translate abstract concepts into plain language.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Experience with stakeholder management (ideally in a fast-paced environment).
  • Nice to have: Experience with ETL-related tools (DBT or Airflow).
  • Nice to have: Experience with BI/reporting tools (Amplitude, Looker, Redash, or Tableau (we use Redash)).
  • Nice to have: Experience with software QA and automated QA.
  • Nice to have: Understanding of statistical modeling and how it can be used for alerting systems.
