As a player-coach, you’ll own complex, high-visibility projects while guiding your team to success. You’ll be instrumental in shaping our creative production strategy, driving operational excellence, and ensuring our brand shines across every touchpoint. This role requires leadership, collaboration, and a passion for both process and people.As the Brand Ops Manager, you’ll partner with other Brand Studio discipline leads, Marketing leadership, and cross-functional teams to scope, prioritize, and deliver a range of creative initiatives. You’ll provide strategic oversight, manage resources, and make sure everything aligns with business and project goals.
This role is both hands-on in producing work and managing the team, fostering an environment of trust, growth, and excellence.This is a full-time role, based in one of our US hubs or remotely within the United States.
What you'll do at Figma:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of producers, fostering a collaborative environment that prioritizes growth, trust, and high-quality output.
- Oversee large, strategic brand and marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with the company's vision and objectives.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration in fast-paced, fluid environments, proactively keeping projects on track and optimizing for resource efficiencies.
- Develop and implement comprehensive project timelines, identifying critical dependencies and key milestones for feedback and approvals from leadership.
- Manage lean team resources effectively, including onboarding agencies and freelancers, while ensuring accountability and high-quality execution.
- Establish scalable workflows and processes, promoting efficiency, creative excellence, and maintaining strong relationships with external creative partners.
We’d love to hear from you if you:
- 7+ years of extensive experience in design operations, creative production, or program management roles.
- 3+ years leadership experience managing teams, with a track record of guiding and developing talent.
- Proven experience in managing complex, multi-faceted projects from start to finish, balancing big-picture goals with day-to-day execution.
- Thrive in fast-paced environments and are adept at bringing structure and clarity to ambiguity.
- Are highly organized, with proven expertise in developing timelines, identifying critical dependencies, and driving project efficiency.
While not required, it’s an added plus if you:
- Have proficiency in resource management within lean team structures, including managing external partners like agencies and freelancers.
- Proficiency in Figma.

Pay Transparency Disclosure
If based in Figma’s San Francisco or New York hub offices, this role has the annual base salary range stated below. Job level and actual compensation will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process (including skills and prior relevant experience, potential impact, and scope of role), market demands, and specific work location. The listed range is a guideline, and the range for this role may be modified.
For roles that are available to be filled remotely, the pay range is localized according to employee work location by a factor of between 80% and 100% of range. Please discuss your specific work location with your recruiter for more information.
