Job Description – Director of Physician Panel
Overview
The Panel Director is part of the operations team and has end-to-end responsibility for the Spherix Physician Community. This person will oversee all aspects of engagements with the physician community, including Key Opinion Leaders. Responsibilities include panel management, recruitment communications, and leading projects requiring data collection support. This role demands strong organizational and relationship-building skills to drive success in market research and strategic analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the physician community strategy, including setting the strategic direction on how to best leverage the physician community and provide additional products, resources and services to the community.
- Ensure quality proprietary data on a timely basis.
- Positively impact P+L through cost processes and controls.
- Manage team of Panel Associates and oversee Field Operations across all Franchises.
- Manage physician community membership, including building and maintaining relationships with new and existing physicians.
- Coordinate recruitment efforts for new physicians in existing and new indications or therapeutic areas.
- Support internal teams to ensure timely and accurate execution of research projects.
- Provide regular and accurate updates on status to ensure completion of surveys is on plan and time.
- Manage external recruitment partner relationships to ensure research projects are completed on plan and on time.
- Ensure the proper and timely processing of payment to research participants.
- Inbound respondent phone and email inquiries and support, as well as any required follow-up.
- Outbound telephone interview scheduling, follow-up, and survey execution.
- Manage day-to-day activities required for managing physician community member information and data in physician community management platform.
- Work closely with internal franchise leaders to identify KOL’s and support the franchise leaders in developing these relationships.
- Monitor and track physician community member participation ratings to ensure the physician community is engaged and has a positive experience.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to identify workflow challenges.
- Actively track project performance from launch to close and provide reporting on final project costs and outcome statistics.
- External vendor management (sending bid requests, reviewing quotes, etc.)
Education & Experience
- 5+ years of experience working in research-related panel support.
- 3+ years of team management experience.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Exposure to and proven capabilities in data analytics.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Demonstrated professionalism in a customer facing role is preferred
- Survey and panel management platform experience required
- Market research or project management experience required
- Must be willing to travel 10% of time
