Location
This is a hybrid role that requires on-site work at our London office three (3) days a week. Our office is conveniently located in WeWork at 1 Mark Square, London, EC2A 4EG.
Elevator Pitch
Stacklok is seeking a Senior Product Manager to define foundational platform capabilities for Stacklok Cloud, an enterprise-grade service from Stacklok that combines open source package intelligence with a policy platform built on the open source project Minder. As we deliver Stacklok Cloud to the largest companies in financial services, healthcare, and other industries, we need to meet their needs for scale, security, and usability. You will play a pivotal role defining compelling and competitively differentiated capabilities, communicating our roadmap to internal and external stakeholders, understanding our customers deeply, and bringing new capabilities to market.
This is a unique opportunity to drive product definition in the confluence of developer tools and security, and have an outsized impact on product direction at a fast-paced startup.
Role Success: 6-12 Month Expectations
- Understand the market, competition, and customer requirements in depth within the first 3 months of joining. This will require you to consume material voraciously, get hands-on experience with existing tools, and dive into discussions with customers.
- Partner with VP of Product to map the corporate strategy to specific product requirements within the first 6 months of joining, leveraging your understanding of the market, Stacklok’s differentiators, and customer needs. This will require you to understand customer needs deeply, and clearly communicate how prioritized features will drive adoption and business impact.
- Partner with engineering to deliver and launch new features (such as single sign-on, billing, and certifications) within the first 6-12 months of joining, evaluate their performance, and iterate quickly. This will require a data-driven approach and an ability to collaborate closely with and influence teams including engineering and marketing.
In this Role, You will have the Opportunity to:
- Use your deep insights into target markets, the competitive landscape, customer needs, and industry trends to drive short- and long-term feature definition.
- Establish and track key performance indicators and success metrics, and use data and feedback to inform product decisions and priorities.
- Partner with engineering to drive successful feature releases.
- You will be engineering’s connection to our customers and will be responsible for bringing them along for the ride.
- Engage frequently with customers to learn about their needs, and envision and deliver new capabilities from concept to launch and rollout.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and product marketing.

Desired Skills & Experience
- Proven experience delivering multiple features and/or products from concept to adoption to enterprise customers, in security, developer tools, observability, or other related domains.
- Understanding of key enterprise needs for products delivered as SaaS and on-premises software including authentication and authorization, compliance, and data locality and privacy.
- Strong technical background with fluency in security and SaaS concepts; experience partnering with technical leaders with an ability to deep-dive into complex technical concepts across multiple domains.
- Experience partnering with design and frontend engineering teams to deliver best-in-class onboarding experiences and core patterns across UI, CLI, and API interfaces.
- Evidence of bringing “outside in” perspective to drive product roadmaps, including a deep understanding of how customers use the product
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
