Pivot Path Solutions is currently seeking a highly skilled Contracts Manager with a strong focus on government acquisition support and project management support.
This role requires a highly organized, multi-functional individual capable of technical advice, problem-solving, and proactive project oversight. This is a remote position, but candidates are preferred in Washington D.C. metro area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage projects, ensuring alignment with established goals, timelines, and budget constraints.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for government staff, responding promptly to issues, concerns, and recommendations for process improvement.
- Provide expert technical and managerial advice, guiding teams to achieve project objectives, resolve issues, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Proactively identify potential project or contractual risks and communicate them to stakeholders, offering viable solutions.
- Develop and implement project plans, track milestones, and deliver regular updates to government managers.
- Ensure the quality of project deliverables through thorough review and adherence to industry best practices.
- Contribute to policy and guidance development for acquisition processes.
Required Qualifications:
Experience:- 10+ years of demonstrated experience in quality management activities for government acquisitions.
- 5+ years of experience developing acquisition policy and guidance.
Certification: Must hold one of the following:- DAWIA Level III
- FAC-C Level III
- NCMA Certified Federal Contract Manager (CFCM)
- NCMA Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM)
Communication Skills: Proven ability in written and oral communication, capable of delivering formal project briefings and status updates.
Desired Qualifications:
Knowledge of government program management areas, including:- Government Purchase Card (GPC) Program Administration
- Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) process
- Unliquidated obligation monitoring
Experience with process improvement initiatives, performance management, and project control principles.
Demonstrated experience in identifying user requirements, translating them into project plans, and driving projects to completion.
