Role Overview:
As a Cloud Data & Analytics Architect at Smartbridge, you will work closely with stakeholders to deliver cutting-edge data solutions on the AWS platform. This role demands hands-on expertise in both designing and building data architectures that meet business challenges. You’ll lead technical projects, mentor teams, and drive business development in cloud data & analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders: Engage with customers, Smartbridge teams, and partners to design and deliver AWS-based solutions.
- Hands-on architecture and development: Act as a hands-on data architect, responsible for both building and designing cloud data solutions.
- Architect cloud solutions: Design and implement data & analytics solutions using AWS services like Snowflake, AWS Glue, and AWS Redshift.
- Technical leadership: Guide teams in deploying cloud data warehouses, data lakes, and integration solutions.
- Develop solutions: Create and develop data pipelines, ETL processes, and engineering solutions using AWS tools and DBT (ETL Tool).
- Feasibility assessments: Lead technical assessments for data projects and create detailed proposals and estimates.
- Mentorship: Provide leadership, mentorship, and upskilling to teams in cloud data solutions.
- Business development: Support and drive business growth by identifying new opportunities in data & analytics.
- Migration expertise: Lead on-premises data warehouse migration efforts to AWS.
- DevOps solutions: Design and implement AWS CI/CD pipelines for data solutions.
- Client relationship management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high-quality solution delivery.
What You Need:
- Broad knowledge of the AWS cloud platform, including experience in data architecture, security, and networking.
- Experience with cloud data warehouses and data lakes (AWS Snowflake, AWS Redshift).
- Expertise in cloud data integration/processing (AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, Spark).
- Ability to roll up your sleeves and actively participate in solution development.
- Understanding of data science tools, machine learning, and analytics models.
- Proven track record in project leadership and stakeholder engagement.
- Full lifecycle experience in data & analytics solutions using Agile methodologies.
- Experience with AWS DevOps design and implementation.
- Prior experience with migrating on-premises data warehouses to AWS.
- Excellent communication skills, comfortable with both large and small audience presentations.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS, or a related field.
