Position Overview:We’re looking for an inspiring and strategic Director of Product Marketing to drive Maxio’s product marketing vision and execution. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this leader will combine deep SaaS expertise, a talent for compelling storytelling, and proven skills in product positioning and go-to-market success.This role will collaborate closely with product management, sales, and customer success teams to ensure our products captivate target audiences and exceed market expectations.Key Responsibilities:
- Product Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive product marketing plan that aligns with Maxio's business goals and market opportunities.
- Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth research to identify customer needs, trends, and competitive landscape, translating insights into actionable strategies.
- Product Positioning: Define and communicate clear, differentiated value propositions for Maxio’s products.
- Go-to-Market Leadership: Drive go-to-market strategies for new product launches, overseeing planning, execution, and performance analysis.
- Content Creation: Develop impactful marketing collateral, including case studies, whitepapers, and presentations highlighting product value.
- Sales Enablement: Equip the sales team with training and resources to effectively convey product benefits and value.
- Customer Insights: Collaborate with customer success teams to gather feedback and refine product messaging and positioning.
- Performance Tracking: Set and monitor KPIs to evaluate the success of product marketing initiatives and drive improvements.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with product, engineering, and design teams to align product development with market needs and feedback.
- Team Leadership: Lead a high-performing product marketing team, fostering innovation and accountability.
Experience:
- 8+ years of SaaS Product Marketing experience – Required.
- Proven track record of leading successful go-to-market strategies, product launches, and positioning of software products – Required.
- Experience in FinTech, billing, payments, or Office of the CFO applications – Preferred.
- 5+ years of leadership and management experience, including building and mentoring high-performing teams – Required.
- Demonstrated experience collaborating cross-functionally with product management, sales, and customer success teams to launch products and drive adoption – Required.
Skills:
- Experience using CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and analytics software to support sales and track performance.
- Strong project management skills with the proven ability to lead and deliver multiple complex projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent analytical skills to interpret data, customer insights, and market trends to inform strategies and decision-making.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft and deliver compelling product stories tailored to various audiences.
- Ability to develop impactful messaging frameworks and competitive positioning strategies that effectively communicate value propositions.
- Strategic thinker with a strong understanding of SaaS market dynamics and the ability to anticipate and respond to market shifts.

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree – Required.
- Major in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field – Preferred.
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree – Preferred.
