Role Summary
In the Sales Operations Manager role, you will play an integral role in growing Dropps retail, e-tailer and marketplace business sales by providing operational leadership to our customers, partners, and brokers. The Sales Operations Manager is responsible for operational management including full customer setup, onboarding, product listing, EDI order management and trouble-shooting , and close coordination with the 3PL to ensure compliance with customer order and fulfillment requirements.
Responsibilities
EDI Responsibilities
- Oversee EDI routing and orders to ensure timely and accurate processing of orders, invoices, and settlements
- Onboard new trading partners onto our EDI platform; collaborate with external parties to define, test, and implement EDI transactions.
- Become highly knowledgeable with the company’s EDI provider’s processes, and with the various interfaces used within the system.
- Work with external third parties to define, test, & implement EDI transactions and validate data. Troubleshoot issues related to EDI functionality and monitor newly installed EDI processes.
- Lead any potential platform changes according to company needs.
- Support compliance processes with all state and international regulations
- Coordinate all new customer onboarding with sales, operations and our 3PL partner
Customer Onboarding & Order Management
- Drive the customer onboarding process from New Item Set Up through product launch with deadlines and deliverables clearly communicated to all cross functional counterparts.
- Provide operational support to retail and large e-tailers sellers
- Manage customer onboarding administration including EDI and item setup in customer portals
- Serve as a point of contact for order status inquiries, product and package update and customer relations needs
- Manage customer service requests, return merchandise authorizations, and special pricing programs
- Oversee daily maintenance of sales orders processing
- Fulfill basic sales and broker reporting requests
- Intervene and support Operations team in resolving accounts payable and chargeback issues
Requirements
- Dedication to Dropps’ sustainability mission
- 3-5 years of Retail and e-commerce sales operations experience, CPG experience a must
- 2-3 years of EDI management experience, preferably TrueCommerce or SPS
- Working knowledge of Netsuite
- Physical requirements (with or without reasonable accommodations): ability to use common office equipment such as a computer, keyboard, mouse/touchpad, etc., ability to visually interpret images, ability to communicate with team members, attend virtual and in person meetings as applicable. This is a primarily stationary role at a desk (seated or standing, according to preference), so must be able to sustain sitting/standing for the majority of work time.
