The Role
TheSenior Budget Analyst will be responsible for overseeing corporate budget and forecasting processes along with coordinating data collection and analysis to develop comprehensive reports for senior management. This role will also maintain and update Hyperion systems for metadata edits, additions, hierarchies, reports, and queries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Budget & Forecasting
- Contact forcorporate budget andforecast processes
- Coordinate the collection and validation of corporate budget guidelines
- Develop & prepare budget/reforecastreport andpresentation formats forsenior management
- Provide detailed analysis and understanding of G&A, payroll, exchange rate and various budget drivers
- Define, document and implement business rules & requirements in Hyperion forms and related calculations
- Hyperion Administration & Support
- Maintain Hyperion updates for metadata edits and additions, hierarchies, reports, and queries
- Monitor system error messages and coordinate resolution of application and functional business issues
- Resolve end user questions from shared inbox in a timely and professional manner
- Assist in identifying needs and developing end user training
- Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Participate in month close reporting and performance evaluation
- Apply analysis to identify trends and forecast future performance
- Develop ad hoc reporting and analysis to supportOperations and senior leadership initiatives
- Lead and/or participate in business initiatives and special projects
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related fieldpreferred
- Minimum of5years in a FP&A environmentpreferred
- Experience with Oracle and Hyperion Essbase(Smartview)and Hyperion Planning
- Demonstrated experience as Hyperion Administrator, strongly preferred
- Proficiency with Excel, Work and Google applications
- Ability to self-motivate & multi-task
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and competing priorities with deadlines
- Customer service oriented
- Detail oriented and organized
- Strong interpersonal skillsto communicate across all levels of the organization
- Ability to work independently
- Quick learner with good follow-through

The anticipated base salary for this position is $90,000.00 to $115,000.00. The actual base salary offered is determined by a number of variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant's qualifications for the position, years of relevant experience, distinctive skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location of residence and/or place of employment.
Base salary is one component of Metropolis’s total compensation package, which may also include access to or eligibility for healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, bonus plans and more.
