Job Summary:

The Private Label Associate is responsible for handcrafting, assembling, and finishing candles, reed diffusers, and room sprays to meet production standards in a warehouse setting. This role requires attention to detail, knowledge of production techniques, and an understanding of warehouse operations to ensure product quality and timely order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will have experience with candle/reed diffuser/room spray crafting, a strong sense of creativity, and the ability to work efficiently in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Candle/Reed Diffuser/Room Spray Production:
  • Measure, melt, and pour wax into molds, ensuring precise control over temperature, color, scent, and timing.
  • Monitor cooling processes and apply finishing touches, such as trimming wicks, polishing, or adding embellishments.
  • Create unique or custom candle designs as required by the production schedule or customer orders.
  • Quality Control:
  • Inspect products for imperfections and ensure they meet company standards before packaging.
  • Perform quality checks on the shape, color, and scent of each product.

    • Record and report any product inconsistencies or production issues to supervisors.

  • Inventory and Material Management:
  • Organize and maintain inventory of items in the day-to-day operations.

    • Track material usage and report when stock levels need replenishment.
    • Follow warehouse organization standards to store materials safely and efficiently.

  • Health and Safety:
  • Adhere to safety guidelines for handling hot wax, chemicals, and other materials.
  • Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed and maintain a clean and organized workstation.
  • Conduct regular safety checks on equipment and report any maintenance needs.
  • Warehouse Support:
  • Assist with packing and labeling finished products for shipment, following company packaging protocols.
  • Coordinate with the shipping team to ensure orders are packed accurately and on time.
  • Contribute to warehouse cleanliness and organization, including restocking materials and cleaning workstations.

  • Qualifications:


    • Experience in candle/reed diffuser/room spray-making or a similar craft production role preferred.
    • Basic understanding of warehouse operations, including inventory management and order fulfillment.
    • Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
    • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a warehouse setting.
    • Good physical stamina, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.

    Work Environment:

    This role is based in a warehouse environment with periodic exposure to heat from melting wax, fragrances, and other candle/reed diffuser/room spray-making materials. The Private Label Associate will work as part of a production team and may be required to work extended hours during peak production seasons.
