We are seeking an experienced SQL Developer who will play an instrumental role in transitioning customers to our business system, during after-hours data migrations. Supporting the Implementation and Professional Services Teams by providing SQL development expertise to produce scripts and tools that ensure the success of their initiatives. - Play a key role in migrating customer data to Procede Software’s platform, primarily during after-hours migrations.
- Work closely with our Implementation and Professional Services teams, providing SQL expertise to develop scripts and tools that ensure project success.
- Assist the Development Team as needed, supporting projects that align with conversion workloads.
- Develop repeatable, scalable database scripts and tools to enhance the data migration and conversion processes.
- Drive improvements in code modularity and enable partial deployments, reducing service interruptions and risk.
- Conduct detailed source code analysis to identify areas for optimization, scalability, and security enhancements, focusing on solutions suited for SaaS and cloud-based environments.
- Diagnose and resolve defects in production environments, prioritizing quick and effective solutions.
Desired Qualifications/Skills
- Ability to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in high-availability, high-volume environments.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality, accurate work.
- Solid understanding of MS SQL Server, including stored procedures, indexing, and triggers.
- Flexibility to work under deadlines, adapt to change, and adjust to non-traditional hours as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, preferred
- Minimum of 6 years in a SQL Developer role
- Proficiency with MS SQL Server, familiarity with Team Foundation Server or similar ALM tools, and a working knowledge of enterprise software development
- Experience with C# is a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit at a desk to perform manual and non-manual work at computer, terminal or meeting table for long periods of time, which are directly related to general business operations of the company and/or customers
- Ability to use hands and fingers or adoptive equipment to safely operate assigned equipment
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
- Ability to use telephone frequently for a long period of time, and to hear and speak clearly by telephone
- Ability to work remotely and independently

Location and CompensationThis is a hybrid-remote role; candidates based in San Diego county are expected to work a minimum of one day per week in the office, those residing outside of San Diego county will be considered fully remote. The salary range for this role is $90,000 to $130,000 per year, depending on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, location, etc.In addition to our comprehensive benefit package, our company encourages and supports career development.
