Executive Operations, Sr. Associate: Procurement

Job Summary
Hive Group continues to expand our footprint in the federal and commercial procurement space. As a part of our strategy, we seek to build and maintain connected voices amongst industry leading proprietors of like services. This effort, The Industry Partner Council, will establish and curate fellowship amongst over two-hundred (200) members of industry wherein procurement is the master service delivered. In this role, the Executive Operations, Sr. Associate, will be the key driver of managing these connections and associated activities, supporting the President directly.

This role will also support both Delivery and Operations as a liaison between organizational areas and the President, where appropriate. Key Responsibilities:Industry Partner Council

  • Lead Facilitator and Organizer:
  • Coordinate member assignment and fellowship via specific events and activities. 
  • This includes hosting, curating and developing regular conferences and introductory activities for new partners.
  • Manage member outreach and engagement as determined by the leadership board. 
  • Liaise with specified government clients in coordinated effort with regular delivery. 
  • Provide and prepare appropriate correspondence as a central point of contact; this can include talking points or specific reporting on developments. 
  • Stand-up and serve as the administrator of the member domain/hub to include managing the registrations, collaboration, posting and mass communications. 
  • Day to day support activities as directed by co-chair(s). 
  • Additional high profile responsibilities as directed by the Hive President. 

Operations and Delivery Executive Support

  • Performance Management:
  • Partner with Executive leadership on semi-annual reviews of company goals and performance towards them; including creating pertinent metrics and or data points to speak to Hive progress.
  • Business Development:
  • Support the Business Development (BD) team in a predetermined manner of administrative functions to include data gathering upon request and establishing critical follow-ups to Executive leadership.
  • Seek partnership or new business opportunities within similar or different disciplines to support Hive’s overall service delivery areas. 
  • Resource Optimization and Risk Management:
  • In partnership with Human Resources (HR), regularly assess organizational risks, whether legally or compliance related and provide appropriate recommendations. 

  • Membership(s):
  • Manage all Hive corporate memberships, fellowships and associations to include seeking out new opportunities. 

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in the related disciplines (e.g., program management, government contracting, partnership outreach and etc.).
  • Demonstrate competency in relationship building and partnership.
  • Strong communication skills, to include the ability to manage this discipline tactfully and thoroughly.
  • Experience establishing and maintaining harmonious working relationships with multiple parties, to include representing the organization's core values.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
  • Published written works.
  • Experience supporting mid-sized to large federal contractors.

  • Experience maintaining databases and navigating updates. 
  • Working knowledge of federal and commercial procurement best practices.
