Reasonable Accommodation Support Technician

Clearance: Eligible for Public TrustType: Non-exemptShift: Part-Time – 1 day per week (Wednesday)Rate: $43.27The Contractor shall provide Reasonable Accommodation Subject Matter Expert (SME) services sufficient for the review, documentation and resolution of end user Reasonable Accommodation requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with the Customeril Division’s Government reasonable accommodation coordinator to obtain reasonable accommodation requirements and provide status updates on each requirement.
- Reasonable Accommodation support shall be available Wednesday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.
- Assist with the facilitation of fair, prompt and thorough responses to Reasonable Accommodation (RA) IT requests.
- Interface with employee to analyze requirements.
- Research Trade and Agreements Act (TAA) compliant products to meet RA requirements.
- Collaborate with the Engineering and Operations team to develop recommendations for Reasonable Accommodation hardware and software that fit within the OIT’s environment and constraints.
- Ensure the security of sensitive/confidential medical information
- Proactively inform employee of RA status.
- Track and document the distribution of hardware and software.
- Create and maintain a folder for the employee(s) requesting a Reasonable Accommodation on the shared drive for the appropriate fiscal year.
- Ensure all documents and e-mails received or created pertaining to the request in the Reasonable Accommodation folder.
- Collaborate with the OIT Contracts team to facilitate procurement of products.
Requirements:
- 2+ years clerical experience
- Associate’s degree or higher
- Eligible for Public Trust clearance
- Ability to work onsite in DC 1 day a week
