We are seeking a motivated Business Solutions Specialist to join our dynamic team.   • Provide common professional services including but not limited to, Excede DMS upgrades, server migrations, third- party API consulting, physical inventory consulting, data services (including development of SSIS packages, SQL automated jobs, SQL scripting) and project management and consulting for custom development
  • Ability to provide consultative services to dealers based on their unique product software needs. Presents self in professional and analytical manner while consulting dealer.
  • Coordinates small to medium-sized projects, which may involve working with multi-product environments with complex designs and workflow. Expertise and work efforts should focus primarily on the implementation of proprietary software products and product usage.
  • Analyzes customers’ business requirements and software/product objectives; develops a deployment and usage strategy of such products to meet customers’ needs.
  • Estimates time frames, quality and quantity of resources required to successfully implement projects; tracks issues between company and customers through to resolution.
  • Conducts periodic status checks with customers and team members to assess project progress. Reports updated forecasts of project variables as necessary throughout projects and other assignments.
  • Prepares project status reports, recaps and visit summaries for all customer site visits.
  • Takes initiative with the Professional Services team (and other departments) to continually establish best practices, identify best-in-class services to enhance Procede’s services portfolio, and generally deliver outstanding, advanced-level customer support.
  • Actively assists with and resolves advanced support requests, lending support and expertise to peers.
  • Demonstrates ability to independently perform other department tasks not specific to application support.
  • Consistently keeps management informed of current project status, departmental and application support issues.

Desired Qualifications/Skills

  • Proven problem-solver with the ability to effectively work with management, staff, and customers; to communicate clearly, concisely and accurately both verbally and in writing; to achieve results for Procede Software; to practice good time management and organizational skills, and to demonstrate exceptional professional behavior.
  • The ability to systematically interpret functional requirements into application design, and the ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical users/customers.
  • Demonstrate intermediate to advanced level DMS knowledge, and all operating systems software as it relates to the product(s). Possesses knowledge of interfaces, data conversion, ODBC, MS SQL Server, MS Word, Excel, and Windows 7 and more.
  • Ability to work independently and use sound judgement and product knowledge when advising customers.
  • Ability to perform numerous tasks and to prioritize efficiently and effectively all assigned tasks.
  • Must be available to travel up to 30% of the time to possibly include weekends and holidays; ability to obtain a passport for international travel, as requested; ability to execute project work that occurs afterhours and weekends.
  • Must be team oriented and have strong interpersonal skills; be reliable and dependable. Ability to proactively mentor new team members.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year experience with DMS (Dealer Management Software) to include system design and consulting and/or data processing type activities.
  • Intermediate ability to view and modify basic direct SQL query changes from SQL Management Studio, as well as creating basic SQL scripting, required.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years in a systems analyst/project management implementation role, preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in related field, such as Computer Science or Business Administration. Relevant work experience may be substituted.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit at a desk, computer terminal or meeting table for a long period of time
  • Ability to use hands and fingers or adoptive equipment to safely operate assigned equipment
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
  • Ability to use telephone frequently for a long period of time, and to hear and speak clearly by telephone

Location and CompensationThis is a hybrid-remote role; candidates based in San Diego county are expected to work a minimum of one day per week in the office, those residing outside of San Diego county will be considered fully remote. The salary range for this role is $60,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, location, etc.In addition to our comprehensive benefit package, our company encourages and supports career development.
