So, what’s the role all about?
A Java fullstack software developer is responsible for both frontend and backend development using Java-based technologies. Here's an overview of what you might expect in a job description for this role.
How will you make an impact?
- Be part of a cross-functional, distributed Scrum team that develops and supports the product.
- Design of software according to agreed standards, architecture and requirements
- Work closely with product manager, UX and other engineers and architects to develop rich front-end UI
- Highly experienced with the Java programming languages and related frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate.
- Implementation of software according to design
- Strong focus on quality and attention to detail.
- Planning and performing testing to ensure fit to standards (e.g. security, scalability, etc.), design as well as functional and non-functional requirements
- Shouldbe a problem solver
Have you got what it takes?
- Degree in Computer Science, Industrial/Electronic Engineering
- 2+ years of software development experience
- At least 2+ years of working experience in Core Java and data structures.
- Strong experience in Angular 13 and above, HTML5, JavaScript, ES6, TypeScript, CSS3 (SASS/LESS), jQuery, etc. and XSLT/XML/JSON
- Strong knowledge of OOAD and Design patterns
- Strong Development experience in Spring Boot, Hibernate, REST
- Good SQL Skills and experience in development against RDBMS
- Experience in automated tests writing (e.g. Junit, Karma, Playwright etc)
- Client side debugging using Firebug, Chrome Web Developer, Fiddler, and etc. (on web and multiple devices)
- Must be aware of how single-page application and multi-page application works.
You will have an advantage if you also have:
- Experience working in and driving Continuous Integration and Delivery practices using industry standard tools such as Jenkins.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, good communication skill.
- Able to resolve problems of moderate scope which requires an analysis based on a review of a variety of factors.
