Essential Functions

- Patrols, responds and records incidents that occur at properties. Uses intervention techniques when rules when needed.
- Maintains surveillance of properties through cameras and patrolling routes.
- Conducts crowd control during meal times or when other special events occur.
- Reports hazards and issues parking citations.
Job Requirements
- CA Guard Card certification required.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Adult CPR/First Aid&AED certified.
- Basic user of MS Office.
- Be at least 21 years of age with a minimum of 3 years of driving experience; possesses avalid California driver's license; and has no Class 1 or more than two Class 2 violations within the past 36 months.
- Participate in an annual Tuberculosis screening and/or other screenings when necessary. Reasonable accommodations may be granted where appropriate.

This position protects the property and ensures the safety of staff, clients, and visitors by patrolling assigned areas.
Work Environment
- Work involves continuous exposure to hazardous substances, potentially dangerous situations, and unpleasant work conditions such as adverse weather conditions or extreme risk of accident or ill health.
- Physical Demand
- Bending and Stooping: Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at waist.
- Climbing: Ascending or descending ladders or stairs using feet and legs and/or hands and arms. Body agility is emphasized.
- Heavy Carrying/Lifting: Physically transporting, raising items from a lower to a higher position, or moving objects horizontally weighing 45 pounds and over from one location to another.
- Kneeling: Bending legs at knees to come to rest on one or both knees.
- Mobility Requirement: Ability to get from one office location to another.
