As our HR Associate, you'll play a pivotal role in our employee experience by supporting our "Rangers" from candidacy and throughout the employee lifecycle!Note: this is a hybrid, 3 days in office position. We are not able to provide sponsorship for this position.
What You’ll Do:
Onboarding:
Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding processes.
Prepare and process new hire paperwork.
Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
Administrative Duties:
Handle state and federal tax documentation and compliance.
Manage benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and files.
Process incoming mail and distribute accordingly.
Assist with record-keeping and maintaining HR databases.
Answer and address employee requests and questions promptly.
Provide backup support for payroll processing.
Assist the Senior Manager of People Operations with various tasks and projects as assigned.
Assist with administrative duties in our San Francisco office, as needed
Compliance and Reporting:
Ensure all HR activities comply with state and federal regulations.
Prepare and submit reports as required.
Other Duties:
Perform other related duties as assigned by the Senior Manager of People Operations.
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, particularly in the tech sector, or 3 years of equivalent People experience required.
Familiarity with HR tech stacks (Applicant tracking system, HRIS)
Experience with payroll and benefits administration
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve employee issues promptly and effectively.
SHRM and/or PHR certification a big plus
