Vena Solutions is seeking a Front-End Architect to support in driving the adoption and strategy of our web front-end development. This exciting opportunity will see you framing, defining and enabling robust and exciting interfaces for our SaaS cloud products and technologies. What you will do:


  • Front-End Architecture Strategy/Roadmap:
  • Work with our Lead Front-End Architect to define and maintain an evolutionary
  • Front-End Architecture Strategy/Roadmap for Vena’s client facing technologies with a key focus on web development, our React components + design system/library, and associated capabilities
  • Solution Architecture:
  • As a Front-End Architect and domain expert, support and mentor your peer
  • Architects in their delivery capacity supporting teams/functions in their solutions design efforts, providing expertise, ensuring alignment and overall compliance
  • Take accountability for one (or more) FE-focused feature teams as the prime Solution Architect
  • R&D:
  • Keep informed on current industry trends and evaluate opportunities to evolve our Front-End technology foundation against industry best practices and standards aligned against Vena’s corporate goals
  • Drive advancement of Front-End features through research and targeted PoC activities
  • Communications:
  • Author Architecture artifacts and create & deliver engaging training material to mentor and support an enabled set of stakeholder resources
  • Lead/influence the organization in thought leadership for future state Front-End direction
  • Governance:
  • Actively participate as a member of the architecture governance board in both process definition and execution, including development of internal standards, policies, principles, and best practices
  • Provide leadership to internal chapters and guilds focused on Front-End implementations and foundation evolution 
  • Lifecycle:
  • Work closely with stakeholders (Designers, Product Managers, Architects, Developers) to develop & validate requirements, and their associated solutions, aligned against compliance, best practices and standards
  • Innovation:
  • Work with stakeholders in PoC activities to promote business cases for future features and enhancements, while supporting our culture of innovation

Does this sound like you?


  • 1-3 years of experience as an Architect or having equivalent experience working directly with the Architecture function
  • 5+ years of professional experience developing JavaScript-based front-end applications
  • 2+ years of experience with React
  • Understanding of modern client-side patterns (e.g. micro frontends) and Design Systems
  • A passion for learning and teaching technology
  • Highly collaborative approach to roadmap, solution and design development
  • Experience building rich UI designs with an eye for performance, usability, and accessibility
  • Excellent knowledge of client-side security and best practices
  • Experience in an Agile/Scrum/Lean environment, preferably working on cloud-based software
