She/He will be responsible for producing immunohistochemistry reagents, performing QC processes, packaging, some R&D products, and any other responsibilities as assigned. This role has functional assay development responsibility as well as cross-functional responsibility in   support of technical transfer and regulatory submissions in the future. The position will be based in the Rockville office. The position may be required to communicate, interact with, and plan for meetings with employees in different departments or companies.

This position is a full-time, in-office position, with standard working hours. · Keeps laboratory records up to date in a timely manner and maintains accurate and complete data. · Prepares immunohistochemistry staining reagents by following SOPs· Prepare tissue sections, perform IHC staining, validate products· Pack the products, print labels, and deliver finished goods to operation · Manage products inventory and orders daily · Participate in other small projects simultaneously with supervision.· Participate in various experiments such as cell growth, transfection, and protein   purification.· Provide summary of results as needed with presentation in group meetings· Maintain laboratory equipment and a safe working environment.· Build relationship with key research and industry leaders to develop product applications and awareness in the market to grow product revenue.· Manufacture products for our customers in a timely and accurate manner· Gross, process tissues, embed, cut, and stain specimens.· Manufacture reagents required as well as test and develop robust protocols.· Follow SOPS to conduct experiments or manufacture products for our customers· Manufacturing cell pellets, maintaining cell inventory in liquid nitrogen, assisting with assays· Assist in cell culture assays for immunostaining.· Maintain safety in a BLS 2 lab· Any other lab skills or bench work not previously stated such as gel electrophoresis, western blotting, etc.Perform other related duties as required and/or assigned. · Minimum of 1-3 years of work experience (industry experience in antibody engineering preferred), knowledgeable in the basics of histology, immunology, cell biology and have at minimum a Bachelor of Science degree in biology, biochemistry, or related life science field.· Ability to identify causes of problems and issues. · Ability to follow procedures and instructions with supervision.· Ability to react to data and technical issues by offering own observations and ideas.· Communicates effectively with team members on all matters.· Great computer skills, familiar with various software applications including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. · Shares information and resources within groups to meet business needs of others.· Deals with conflict calmly, seeking resolution by active listening.· Admits mistakes and take responsibilities for actions.· Positive attitude and ability to handle stress in a healthy way· Employee must regularly sit, walk, talk, hear, use hand and fingers, handle, or feel;  occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.· Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. · Vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, and ability to adjust focus. · Travel may be required
