GXM is seeking to hire an experienced and talented Business Analyst and with a passion for analyzing, assessing, and reporting business processes. A candidate should have experience gathering requirements, and helping to implement solutions to improve business performance. The business analyst will work closely with development teams to ensure that requirements are met on multiple projects. This position will allow the analyst to work closely with stakeholders to identify problems, opportunities, analyze data, create reports presenting their conclusions and recommendations ensuring that the final outcomes meet the strategic objectives of the organization.
Duties include but are not limited to
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand business needs, challenges, and objectives.
- Elicit, document, analyze and validate business requirements using various techniques.
- Analyze data and processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Evaluate existing business processes and systems to identify inefficiencies or bottlenecks.
- Recommend process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance productivity, reduce costs, or improve service quality.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications for technical teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Organize and lead meetings with stakeholders to ensure alignment on deliverables and timelines.
Requirements
- MUST BE A US CITIZEN
- TS/SCI required; CI Poly desired
- Must be able to work on-site (FT Meade) 5 days a week
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2+ years of experience in an IT related field or similar role
- Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
- Proficiency with MS Office suite
- Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, or similar issue tracking systems
Preferred But Not Required
- CS degree (or similar), or related experience
