About the Opportunity


As a Software Engineer at unitQ, you will be responsible for integrating customer data sources with unitQ by building scalable data connectors and data ETL pipelines. From initial onboarding and over the entire customer journey, you will work with unitQ key accounts, enhancing the unitQ data ingestion capabilities. This role is both customer—and internally-facing. You will understand the customer's data warehouse and provide guidance on accessing it with the best industry security standards. The ideal candidate has experience managing ETL pipelines and data orchestration jobs, expertise in monitoring pipeline reliability, and the ability to write clean/testable code. 

As a unitQ Software Engineer, You will:


  • Directly work with customers to integrate unitQ into existing workflows
  • Coordinate with Engineering & Operations teams to ensure the delivery of data connectors 
  • Serve as the technical point of contact for customers and systematically track and address enhancement requests to the ETL pipeline
  • Scaling our services to handle ever-increasing data loads used to train our AI
  • Developing production backend services to assist in data cleaning and training data for unitQ’s AI platform
  • Adding to and maintaining monitors and alerts for our services and models

The ideal candidate will have:


  • Minimum three years of programming, preferably with high-volume data
  • Experience in automating processes and implementing APIs with Python, JavaScript, or Java
  • Curiosity to understand customers' data architecture and suggest creative solutions
  • Strong interpersonal skills and business acumen, with the ability to engage effectively with external tech teams 
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience is a must
  • Comfortable with Cloud Environments such as AWS or GCP
