Strongpoint has been recognized among the Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing private companies in 2024!Retirement Planners & Administrators (RPA), a Strongpoint Partner, is seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Retirement Plan Administrator who will provide full client services to a designated caseload of clients, including day to day communication and management of their workflow and project deadlines. This is a great opportunity for a motivated candidate who wants to support all sides of a growing financial services firm. This individual must have strong project management skills, a high level of comfort with technology, and the personality to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment by being adaptable, creative, proactive, and eager to grow in this position as it evolves with the growth of the company.
What you'll do:
- Independently handle a caseload of between 60 to 80 plan with A-Z administration (including loan & distributions, contributing calculations, plan documents, plan design, etc)
- Perform plan ADP/ACP compliance testing accurately and timely
- Provide superior client service and communication
- Maintain industry knowledge and share information with team members
- Utilize administration systems and other technologies to maximize efficiencies
- Review and recommend plan design changes to clients
- Coordinate year-end valuation
- Read and interpret plan documents
- Importing census and participant account data
- Asset Reconciliation/Trust Accounting
- Year-end valuation
- Forms 5500, 8955, 5330
- Loan, hardship, and distribution review
Who you are:
- Minimum of 6 years of 401k/403b retirement plan administration experience
- Excellent knowledge of ADP/ACP, 415, 410(b), Top Heavy and 401(a)(4) non-discrimination testing
- ASPPA and/or NIPA credentials preferred
- Experience with Relius software strongly preferred
- Excellent verbal, written, analytical, organizational skills and keen attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong math and/or accounting skills
- Strong initiative, integrity, self-motivation, and results orientation
- Ability to organize, set priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong MS Office experience, especially Excel and Word
