You'll be responsible for leading strategic initiatives and executing growth projects to build, maintain, and maximize relationships within our healthcare verticals.
Reporting to the Director of Business Development, you will set the performance standards, guide the team in best practices, and actively contribute to top-of-funnel lead generation. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, goal-oriented environment and is ready to lead by example.Core Responsibilities | This role includes but is not limited to:
Lead Generation & Pipeline Development
Participate in generating high-quality leads to maintain a robust pipeline.
Provide ongoing guidance and support to BDRs, helping them qualify and pass leads to Account Executives (AEs) through strategic outbound prospecting.
Personally engage in lead generation through emailing, calling, product demos, and attending industry events.
Team Leadership & Coaching
Set performance standards for the team and coach BDRs on effective sales techniques, pipeline management, and relationship-building strategies.
Conduct regular check-ins and provide constructive feedback to BDRs, supporting their growth and ensuring alignment with company goals.
Sales Collaboration & Support
Partner with the Marketing team to develop and optimize sales collateral that aligns with the strategies and needs identified by Account Executives.
Attend and actively participate in sales meetings and presentations with prospective clients, supporting AEs by documenting key takeaways and following up on action items.
Strategic Networking & Industry Engagement
Occasionally travel for industry conferences, trade shows, and on-site demos to promote the Propelus brand and foster connections that drive growth.
Represent Propelus as a brand ambassador, engaging prospective clients and industry stakeholders to expand the network and secure new business opportunities.
What You Bring To The Team
Experience & Education
4+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, ideally in a software-as-a-service (SaaS) or healthcare setting.
Demonstrated track record of achieving sales goals and generating pipeline; prior experience as a team lead or coach is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience preferred.
Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of CRM and web-based applications (Salesforce or HubSpot preferred).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with high-level executives.
Professional presence and confidence in client-facing settings.
Proficiency with prospecting techniques, including cold calling, social media engagement, and pipeline-building strategies.
Availability for occasional travel by air.
