Alliance InfoSystems, LLC, , headquartered in Hunt Valley, MD, has an opportunity for an Accounting Clerk to join its Finance Team in Hunt Valley. The successful candidate will have a desire for continuous improvement and learning as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities (Summary):
- Responds to all internal and external queries within 24 hours and provides appropriate resolution.
- Responsible for administration of monthly and client agreement invoices.
- Responsible for management of all accounts payable invoices, including but not limited to system maintenance to ensure approval workflow is fully functioning.
- Prepares applicable financial reports as requested which may include, but not limited to: client open invoice report, ad hoc reports to internal users, etc.
- Responsible for client relations regarding outstanding balances, client and Microsoft licensing updates, etc.
- Processing client agreement invoicing and profitability (ie. client payments received) Makes applicable recommendations regarding client agreements.
- Participates in initiatives to improve processes and create efficiencies which may include but not limited to, providing recommendations to Finance management.
- Assists with monthly closings, bank statement reconciliations, etc.
- Ensures that adequate internal controls are adhered to in all finance processes

Requirements
Successful candidate will have the following:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One to three years of related experience or equivalent
- Proficient with microsoft office applications, accounting software experience a plus.
- Prior experience/knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes preferred
- Prior data entry experience
- Demonstrated ability to calculate figures and amounts
- Excellent attention to detail skills
- Strong organizational and customer service skills.
- Good collaboration and interpersonal skills: such as telephone skills, communication skills (written and verbal), active listening and customer-care
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly in a high stress environment
