Job Summary


The Market Development Representative (Entry Level) will play a crucial role in supporting our established Sales Lead Generator. This role will focus on conducting industry research, identifying potential client needs, and engaging in initial outreach through email and other communication channels to generate interest and qualify leads for further engagement. This person’s role requires a confident, persistent, and high-energy professional to help drive new prospects and leads into the top of the sales funnel.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS


  • Research of New Opportunities
  • Outbound Lead Generation - Cold Solicitation (calls/emails/social)
  • Proactive Social Engagement and Listening to target industries and customers.

Job Function


  • Conduct research on industries and companies poised for growth or change to identify potential clients.
  • Leverage search engine alerts, trade publications, and industry newsletters to stay informed about key developments.
  • Initiate outreach to potential clients via email, text, and phone, to elevate potential prospects to the Senior Lead Generator.
  • Actively engage on social media platforms by following, commenting, and sharing relevant industry content to increase brand visibility and establish initial touchpoints with prospective clients.
  • Qualify initial leads by gathering pertinent details and assessing potential project fit.
  • Handoff engaged and qualified leads to the Senior Lead Generator for further development and client conversion.
  • Maintain detailed records of outreach efforts and results in CRM, contributing to continuous improvement in lead generation efforts.
  • Monitor performance metrics and adjust strategies to increase engagement success rates.

TRAVEL


This position will require frequent travel via all modes of transportation. Overnight travel with a duration of seven days or more may be required.

RequirementsADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.Interest in building a career in sales and marketing with an emphasis on client development.Strong research skills and ability to utilize digital tools to gather relevant industry insights.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on crafting compelling, personalized outreach.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks independently.Enthusiasm for learning and applying sales techniques in a supportive, fast-paced environment.Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Prior experience in signage, environmental graphics, or the AV industry is a benefit. All prospective team members must pass a criminal background check and drug test.
