Job Description
We are seeking a visionary and strategic Director of Crypto Business Development to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead our cryptocurrency initiatives, driving growth and innovation in the rapidly evolving digital asset landscape.
- Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to expand our cryptocurrency offerings and market presence
- Identify and pursue strategic partnerships, collaborations, and investment opportunities in the crypto space
- Lead negotiations and close high-value deals with key stakeholders in the blockchain and cryptocurrency ecosystem
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to inform business decisions and product development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align crypto initiatives with overall business objectives
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings to build relationships and enhance our market position
- Manage and mentor a team of business development professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence
- Work closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements in the cryptocurrency sector
- Develop and present business cases, financial models, and performance reports to senior leadership and board members
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field; MBA preferred
- 15+ years of experience in business development or related roles, with at least 5 years in the cryptocurrency or blockchain industry
- Proven track record of successfully identifying, negotiating, and closing strategic partnerships and deals
- Deep understanding of cryptocurrency, blockchain technology, and the broader fintech landscape
- Strong knowledge of international markets, particularly in the Middle East region
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage high-performing teams
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in financial modeling and data-driven decision making
- Experience in navigating regulatory environments in the cryptocurrency and financial services sectors
