Position Type:
Full-Time, Hourly
Internship Duration: 10 weeks, beginning June 3, 2025
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Location: 7525 Perryman Court, Curtis Bay, MD
Primary Responsibilities
- Design and Development: Assist with circuitry design, mechanical design, firmware coding, and the real-world implementation of designs in a fast-paced environment where interns typically see an entire project lifecycle from start to finish.
- Engineering Support: Work as part of a cross-functional team to support various engineering disciplines, gaining insights into the collaboration required for successful project completion.
- Project Preparation: Aid in the preparation and setup of integrated laser, lighting, flame, and special effects equipment for both in-house and onsite events.
- Project Implementation: Take part in the assembly and installation of set pieces that meet high operational standards for events, ensuring pieces are user-friendly, safe, and consistently reliable.
- Documentation and Compliance: Complete necessary documentation and compliance reports related to projects, ensuring all safety and operational standards are met.
- Skill Development: Progress in proficiency with relevant engineering software and tools, including PCB design software, CAD programs, and programming interfaces for real-time embedded systems.
- Research and Development: Participate in research and development initiatives that explore and test new technologies and proprietary equipment.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Support engineering teams in the maintenance of proprietary gear, specifically focusing on lasers, lighting, and flame equipment.
- Explore innovative design concepts and technology integrations for unique special effects applications.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized workspace, following company procedures and compliance policies.
- Provide additional support for other multimedia projects as needed, including drone and pyrotechnic shows.
- Complete compliance-related training, maintaining OSHA and company policy standards.

- Capable of operating independently with minimal supervision
- Able to frequently walk, bend, squat, balance, lift and carry up to 65 lbs.

- Must be in junior or senior year of Bachelor’s program
