Payrate:$20.88 - $24.73/hr

Job Summary


The position of Intake Specialist is responsible for coordinating intake services, which includes gathering demographic information, providing support and resources depending on appropriateness, and scheduling assessment appointments. A critical element of Josselyn’s mission is to ensure that we create a reverberating positive impact on clients and this includes both clinical and non-clinical staff.

Essential Responsibilities and Metrics


  • Interact with all clients and visitors in a respectful and welcoming manner
  • Schedule appointments based on needs of clients and availability of providers
  • Obtain pertinent information from new clients to begin services
  • Answer 20-25 live/email intake inquiries per day and schedule IMCANS with appropriate staff
  • Distribute Opening Paperwork to New Clients as part of the intake process
  • Provide backup coverage to access team members
  • Uphold HIPAA privacy standards for client data
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 1-2 years of prior experience in mental health required
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
