We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Administrator to join our technology team. As the primary admin on the Everspring instance, this role will be responsible for building, maintaining, and configuring business requirements in Salesforce. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, with a strong sense of ownership and will build strong relationships with enterprise stakeholders at all levels. Experience in both Salesforce Classic and Lightning are a must for this role and a strong understanding of administration and Apex are also required.
This role reports to the Executive Director, Product Development & Support and is located in Chicago, offering a hybrid work environment with a minimum of 2 days required in the office every week.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Regularly complete internal system audits.
- Serve as a system administrator for Salesforce, Sales Cloud, and Service Cloud.
- Effectively act as the liaison between users, vendors, and product leadership.
- Configure, document and implement business solutions, systems, and processes.
- Maintain knowledge of existing and new Salesforce features and functionality, as well as provide recommendations for process improvements.
- Service tickets and fulfill requests within SLA, as well as manage the process for other resources.
- Maintain a solid understanding of the company’s business which includes all functions (full funnel).
- Build strong relationships with colleagues across departments to establish and maintain equity.
- Implement new partner projects within the Salesforce ecosystem working closely with product and project management.
- Mass data changes including inserts and updates.
- Grant, remove and maintain user licenses.
- Maintain security through sharing settings, profiles, roles, and permission sets.
- Import data as appropriate, manage duplicate records, monitor and improve data quality.
- Build and manage reports, report folders, and dashboards to improve team efficiency.
- Configure and manage adjacent technologies such as chat, telephony, scheduler, and other applications that integrate with Salesforce.
- Experience creating artifacts and generating technical documentation for knowledge retention
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree
- 5 to 7 years of related Salesforce experience is required;
- One or more current Administrator Salesforce.com certifications preferred
- Experience with Salesforce Classic and Lightning is a must
- Exceptional communication skills with both technical and non-technical team members.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives and projects from multiple stakeholders across multiple functions simultaneously.
- Experience designing solutions and maintaining systems that adhere to security best practices.
- Highly complex analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Ability to manage multiple workstream types such as Agile and FIFO.
- Create and manage complex flows and automation.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of APEX, Force.com, SOQL, Salesforce APIs, Triggers and VisualForce is required.
