JOB SUMMARY:
The Front of the House Attendant will be responsible for the presentation, cleanliness, and client experience of the performance food service operation for the Texas Rangers baseball teamThis position reports to the Executive Chef.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide "Best in Class" hospitality for our high-profile client, including excellent manners and interpersonal skills
- Stock, clean and manage Front of House; maintain excellent communication with Executive Chef and kitchen team
- Manage an exceptional visual presentation and cleanliness in food service area
- Make Smoothies
- Make, package, and stock Grab and Go
- Stock snacks and drinks
- Stock plates, cutlery, condiments, packaged goods, etc.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining room.
- Create, print, and post signage/ menus for the food service areas.
- Sweep, mop, and scrub as needed, as well as clean floors, shelves, surfaces, equipment, etc.
- Check and refill all supplies that clients use daily
- Assist kitchen and BOH as needed, this may include prep work and dishwashing
- Communicate all needs through the Executive Chef and Sous Chef
- Ensure the dining area is clean, organized, and well-stocked
- Cover and date food when storing it to ensure freshness and safety
- Ensure hot food temperatures are within safe range and record temps
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2 to 3 years of customer service experience
- Previous experience working as a team in/ with the kitchen
- Excellent hospitality skills, professional demeanor, and a service-first attitude
- Extreme attention to detail
- Ability to anticipate client needs and fulfill them
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment, safe sanitary practices, and culinary skills
IDEAL CANDIDATES:
- Flexible schedule with ability to work long non standard hours depending on the game times of MLB baseball
- A working knowledge of baseball
WORK REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to pass a background check
- Able to commute to and from Texas Rangers Globe Ball Park in Arlington, TX
- Food Handlers certification
WORK SCHEDULE & AVAILABILITY:
- Able to work non-standard work week, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays
- Your schedule will be built around the 2025 Texas Rangers home game schedule
