How you’ll make an Impact
As the Security Analyst I, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our clients' environments are secure, making a direct impact on their overall safety and success. In this role, you'll be the primary point of contact for crucial security tasks, such as vulnerability management, intrusion detection, compliance oversight, change management, and risk assessments. By staying current with the latest security bulletins and emerging trends, you'll not only help prevent threats but also lead proactive security initiatives, working hand-in-hand with our proactive team to align with clients' business objectives.
Through your dedication, leadership, and attention to evolving risks, you’ll provide the guidance and oversight that will make a meaningful difference in our clients' operational resilience and security.
Summary of Location and Hours
- 100% Remote
- Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm CST with a rotating on call schedule
What you will be doing
- Manage Identification, prioritization, and remediation guidance of security risks.
- Research potential information security threats, industry trends, emerging technologies, and response alternatives.
- Participate in cross functional projects inside and outside of Corporate Security to ensure that security concerns are addressed throughout the project life cycle. Ensures security projects are delivered on time and on budget.
- Collaborate in the facilitation, analysis, execution, and governance for contracted security engagements, driving remediation with internal and external partners.
- Collaborate on approval, tracking and reporting any security exceptions as the need arises.
- With vCISO, perform IT Risk Assessments, identify risks, recommendations, and remediation
- Perform third-party vendor risk assessments
- Understanding of information security risks, threats, and controls including the ability to design effective controls that mitigate risk.
- Understanding of information security audit and assessment methodologies, policies, standards, procedures, and best practices.
- Understanding of core IT concepts and functions.
- Knowledge of information security standards, data privacy laws, computer crime laws, and federal data protection laws, etc.
- Enter all notes and time worked on the appropriate service ticket
- Schedule managed client reviews or other on-site matters via scheduling calendar in ConnectWise
- Enter expenses on service tickets for any related credit card purchases and submit receipts daily
- Submit time sheets on a weekly basis, due by Saturdays at 12P
You’ll be successful in this role if you have
- 1-2 years of experience with incident detection and response
- 1-2 years of experience with network security hardware including firewalls
- Experience configuring security in Microsoft 365 and Azure
- Sharp attention to detail with a proactive approach to accuracy and thoroughness
- Passion for delivering outstanding customer service, with a track record of exceeding client expectations
- Strong enthusiasm for learning new things and ability to adapt to evolving technology trends and industry advancements
Required language skills
- Ability to communicate professionally, in English, both written and orally
- Ability to write business correspondence and process procedures
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and the general public
Bonus points for
- Bachelor's degree in Networking, Secuity or related field
- Industry certification such as Security+, CCNA Security, or CEH

The base pay range for this position is expected to be between $50,000 and $60,000.00 per year. The base pay offered may vary depending on multiple non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, and PTO. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

Workspace Requirements and Remote Work Policy
Team members must establish a dedicated safe workspace that is free from distractions, hazards, and that is secure from unauthorized access. This includes following Ntiva’s IT User and Security Policies that include but are not limited to password-protecting all equipment, keeping confidential and proprietary documents secure, refraining from using public Wi-Fi, having adequate arrangements in place to avoid significant interruptions from caregiving responsibilities during work hours (except in emergency situations with manager approval).
Any remote work away from a team member’s normal expected dedicated safe workspace must be requested by team member, is subject to review by management, and must adhere to Ntiva policies and procedures.
