Position Summary
Technicut Tool (TCT), a CMT company, is seeking a
CMM Programmer
for our
Windsor, Ontario

*This position works a schedule of Monday thru Friday from 7:00am - 3:30pm with overtime available on some Saturday's according to business demand*
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Operates CMM machine and maintains CMM work instructions for the set-up and inspection of parts.
- Performs all programming of the CMM Machine.
- Drives process improvement by providing insight on programming changes and product calibration.
- Analyzes and interprets blueprints, models, evaluation sheets, manuals, and other materials to determine specifications, inspection and testing procedures, adjustments, and certification methods.
- Collects and analyzes inspection data and makes computations as necessary to determine inspection results and performs first article inspections.
- Communicates information to all team members; Inspection results, part status, updates, and specific instructions, and participates in PFMEA activities.
- Other inspections as required.
Experience, Qualifications, and Skills
- Two-year associate degree or equivalent education and experience.
- 5+ years' experience running CMM machine(s) using Calypso software is required.
- Experience running DMIS software.
- Competent with Microsoft Office and capable of using paperless systems.
- Ability to conduct tests to ensure products and materials meet the established quality specification.
- Adept at planning and developing standards, procedures, and best practices for ensuring product quality.
- Position available to Canadian Citizens or Canadian Permanent Residents ONLY.
