Project Associate
(This is a remote position open to applicants residing in TX, NM, AZ or KS)
Job Description
As a Project Associate, you will play a vital role in managing the operational aspects of projects from start to finish. This includes planning, scheduling, and monitoring activities to ensure that project requirements are met. You’ll assign resources, set deadlines, and track timelines and budgets to keep projects on track. Additionally, you’ll communicate the project scope, goals, and responsibilities to team members, ensuring everyone stays aligned. In this role, you will be responsible for scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and developing reports, including impact analysis statements.
You’ll work to continuously improve project processes by evaluating existing methods and making recommendations as needed. You may also provide direction to ensure that projects are executed effectively and efficiently. As part of your responsibilities, you’ll coordinate the efforts of subcontractors to meet project deliverables and contribute to scoping sales opportunities and managing project procurement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and/or 1 to 4 years’ experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Basic analytical and problem-solving skills are required for evaluating processes, preparing impact analysis statements, tracking timelines and budgets, and identifying areas for improvement
- An ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules and step-by-step action plans
- Basic understanding of Project Management methodologies and best practices
- Basic proficiency in using Project Management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello, Smartsheets, SAP, Moovila, or Jira) and office productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) is preferred. Familiarity with document management systems and CRM software may also be beneficial.
