We specialize in delivering efficient and reliable transportation solutions, and we are seeking a motivated Driver Recruiter to help grow our team of Company Drivers and Owner Operators to sublet leased equipment in Charleston, Savannah, and Jacksonville.

This role is crucial to ensuring we maintain a steady pipeline of qualified and professional drivers to support our expanding operations in the Southeast ports.

This role must be located in Charleston, Savannah, and Jacksonville. No exceptions.Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively source, attract, and recruit qualified Company Drivers and Owner Operators to sublet leased equipment for intermodal trucking operations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with driving schools, transportation networks, and industry organizations to create a pipeline of potential candidates.
  • Conduct initial interviews and pre-qualify candidates based on Atlas Marine’s hiring standards and requirements.
  • Collaborate with operations and safety teams to ensure compliance with all regulations and qualifications.
  • Manage the entire recruitment process, including advertising job openings, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and facilitating onboarding.
  • Track recruitment metrics and performance indicators, providing regular reports to management.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, driver compensation, and competitor recruitment strategies.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience from initial contact to final onboarding.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in driver recruitment, preferably within the intermodal or drayage sectors.
  • Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT requirements, and compliance standards related to Owner Operators.
  • Proven ability to manage high-volume recruitment efforts and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with drivers.
  • Experience using recruitment platforms and ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems).
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

The expected salary range for this role is $40,000 to $60,000. The actual base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and other factors permitted by law.
