Conformal Coat Operator

We support original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) of medical devices, aerospace and defense products, and industrial equipment with engineering & manufacturing solutions. These solutions include product design, printed circuit board layout, test development, and manufacturing support through the whole product lifecycle. We are currently hiring in our Bloomington, Il facility for a conformal coating operator.
Full Time Position Reports to: Production Manager
Job Summary
- Apply conformal coat of paint to circuit boards according to customer specifications.
- Follow instructions to make sure certain areas of the board do not get coated i.e. properly masked off.
- Operator will have to be able to operate an automated coating machine and be able to hand coat/spray boards.
- Pay attention to make sure that the board meets the requirements such as coating on all areas required to be coated.
- Ensure proper staking of components and removal of tape for areas that are masked off.
Qualifications
- Requires attention to detail
- GED or HS Diploma
- Crafting experience or very detailed experience in previous jobs
- Ability to cut masking & kapton tape with sharp blades
- Ability to use tweezers
- Non sensitivity to smell
- Must be willing wear respirator when spraying
- U.S. Citizenship status is required as we are an ITAR facility
